About This Book
This book covers the Islamic rulings that apply specifically to women, from daily matters to special occasions. It starts from the special guidance the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave concerning women, including in his sermon at 'Arafat, and from the concern that Muslim women today face pressure to give up their dignity and status.
The rulings are organized into ten chapters, so a reader can go straight to the subject she needs, whether purification, prayer, fasting, Hajj, or marriage and divorce. The opening chapter also compares the status of women before Islam with their status under Islam.
