About This Qur'an
This Darussalam edition of the Noble Qur'an places the Arabic text, a transliteration in Roman letters, and an English translation of the meanings next to one another. It was prepared for readers who cannot read Arabic script, or who are not yet comfortable with it, so they can pronounce each verse more accurately while following its meaning.
The English interpretation is by Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan. For this edition the publisher revised the text, set each verse separately with its interpretation, and added a column carrying the transliteration.
