About This Set
Jami' At-Tirmidhi is one of the six major hadith collections, compiled by Imam Abu 'Eisa Muhammad ibn 'Eisa At-Tirmidhi (d. 279 AH), a leading student of Imam al-Bukhari. The collection is valued for more than its narrations: At-Tirmidhi often notes the grade of a hadith, the differing views of the jurists on the issue, and remarks on the narrators, which makes the book a study aid as well as a source.
This complete English translation comes in 6 hardback volumes and contains 3,956 hadiths. The hadiths were edited and referenced by Hafiz Abu Tahir Zubair 'Ali Za'i.
