About This Book
Selected Invocations gathers authentic supplications for three moments made for asking: prostration, the Qunoot of Witr, and the completion of the Qur'an. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that a servant is closest to his Lord in prostration, yet many of us reach that moment and find our words have run out.
The collection was compiled with the imam in mind, who leads the congregation in long supplications during Ramadan, and it serves the individual worshipper just as well. Its pocket size means it can stay in a bag or beside a prayer mat. The compiler, Muhammad bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Musnad, is known for compiling Fatawa Islamiyah.
