About This Book
Sad bin Abi Waqqas (R): The Lion in the Deen tells the story of Sad (may Allah be pleased with him), one of the very first people in Makkah to accept Islam and a relative of the Prophet (peace be upon him) through his mother's family.
His bravery and devotion earned him the name The Lion in the Deen. He is remembered as the first man to shoot an arrow in the cause of Islam and as one of the ten Companions given the glad tidings of Paradise. Later he commanded the Muslim army at Al-Qadisiyyah, the victory that opened the way for Islam to reach the people of Iraq and Persia.
