About This Book
This is the large 6x9 paperback edition of Fortress of the Muslim, the English translation of Hisn ul-Muslim (also known as Citadel of the Believer) by Sa'id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani. It gathers supplications from the Qur'an and hadith, with references, for use throughout the day and on special occasions. The larger format makes the text easier to read than the pocket editions, while the content is the same across all sizes.
The book is an abridgment of the author's longer work, Adh-Dhikr wad-Du'a wal-'Ilaj bir-Ruqyah min al-Kitab was-Sunnah. He kept only the section on words of remembrance, gave the text of each supplication instead of the complete hadith, and limited the references to one or two per entry. Readers looking for fuller sourcing are pointed to the original book.
