What is Riyadus-Saliheen?
Riyadh al-Saaliheen or The Meadows of the Righteous, also referred to as The Gardens of the Righteous (Arabic: رياض الصالحين Riyadh as-Salihin or Riyadh as-Saaliheen), is a compilation of verses from the Qur'an supplemented by hadith narratives written by Al-Nawawi from Damascus (1233–1277). The hadith by al-Nawawī belongs to the category of canonical Arabic collections of Islamic morals, acts of worship, and manners, which are attributed to Muhammad by Muslim scholars but not found in the Quran.
This explanation is easy to follow and contains many points of benefit. Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen is well known in the Arab world as a teacher for the everyday Muslim. He is an expert at taking something complex and detailed and teaching it to the people in an easy to digest manner.
