Bengali: Sahih Al-Bukhari - Vol. 5

About This Book

This edition is in Bengali (Bangla). This is Volume 5 of the Bengali translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari, the great hadith collection of Imam al-Bukhari, containing ahadith 5063 through 6303. The remaining volumes of the set are available separately. A full description in Bengali follows below.

Imam al-Bukhari devoted sixteen years to this collection, known in full as Al-Jami' as-Sahih. He sifted through a vast number of narrations and recorded only those he had established as genuine after close examination, and he is reported to have prayed two rak'ahs for guidance before writing each one down. Muslim scholars have long treated it as the most authentic book of hadith. The complete work has 7563 ahadith in this numbering, organized into books by subject and then into chapters of related narrations.

The Bengali translation is from Darussalam and is written in plain, easy language for general readers.
