This two-volume hardback set presents Riyad-us-Saliheen (The Gardens of the Righteous), the collection of hadith compiled by Imam an-Nawawi, with the Arabic text, an English translation, and commentary. About Imam an-Nawawi
Yahya ibn Sharaf an-Nawawi was born in 631 AH (1233 CE) in Nawa, near Damascus, which gave him his name. He memorized the Qur'an at a young age, studied in Damascus, and later taught at Dar al-Hadith. Although his life was short, his works in fiqh, hadith, and language are still studied across the Muslim world.
