About This Book

In this book, Shaykh al-Madkhalee addresses the rights of men and women in Islam. It was written in response to a seminar held by a group of women in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, who claimed that their rights were being withheld, and it presents the Shaykh's refutation of that claim.

Alongside the refutation, the book describes the rights Islam gives to men and to women. It compares the position of women in Islam with that of women in the West and in other religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism.
