This edition is in Farsi (Persian). It is a translation of Qisas al-Anbiya (Stories of the Prophets) by Hafiz Ibn Kathir, the well-known 14th-century scholar of Damascus, and it covers the prophets of Allah from Adam to Jesus ('Eesa), peace be upon them all. A full description in Farsi follows below.

The material is drawn from Ibn Kathir's major history Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah (The Beginning and the End). Each account is supported by verses of the Qur'an and by the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the stories are arranged in chronological order, which gives the book the shape of a continuous history. Where the author used other historical sources, he compared them to weigh their reliability, and he also reports the views of the leading Qur'an commentators of his time.
