About This Book
This book is the English translation of Mukhtasar Seerah Ar-Rasool by Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab At-Tamimi. It gives a concise account of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), with many references to the Qur'an translated into English, and clearly divided chapters that make it easy to find the periods before and after the start of prophethood.
The text was prepared by a committee formed by Imam Muhammad bin Sa'ud Islamic University, which gathered the author's writings from printed works, manuscripts and microfilm, verified their attribution, and compared the copies to produce a complete text. The later chapters continue past the Prophet's lifetime into the era of the caliphs, recording events year by year.
