Qur'an: The Final Revelation
Qur'an: The Final Revelation
About This Book
Qur'an: The Final Revelation is an English translation of the meanings of the Qur'an by Abdul Hye, PhD. It renders the Arabic word for word into simple English so that any reader can follow it.
Two choices stand out. The translation uses the name Allah throughout instead of "God". And where English needs a word that the Arabic leaves unstated, the translator adds it in parentheses, so the reader can always see which words are in the Arabic and which were added for clarity.
The book presents the Qur'an as the final revelation from the same God who sent Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and it identifies the twenty-five prophets named in the Qur'an. Many first-time readers find more familiar names than they expected.
