Stories of the Quran - Quiz Book

About This Book

Stories of the Qur'an: Quiz Book by Ammar Awais tests what readers know about the people and events of the Qur'an. It holds 400 questions arranged into 50 quizzes.

The questions cover the prophets, among them Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Yusuf, Sulayman, 'Isa and Muhammad (peace be upon them all), along with the righteous men and women and the nations whose stories the Qur'an tells. They are written to check that the reader understood the lesson of each story, not only a name or a detail.

A few sample questions: Which two members of Prophet Nuh's family did not believe in him? Whose sons plotted to get rid of one of their half-brothers? Who asked Allah for a sign when he was given the glad tidings of a son? Which prophet is praised in particular for his patience under severe hardship?

Recalling an answer helps a story stay with the reader longer than reading it again. The quiz format also works in a group, so a family, class or study circle can go through it together.
