
One of the dearest companions of the Holy Prophet was Sad bin Muadh who was a living example of wisdom, bravery and devotion. His life is full of incidents where he showed great love for Allah and Islam. He supported Islam and its cause will unmatchable devotion. His wealth and wisdom served Allah throughout his life. Knowing about his life and character can be a great source of religious enlightenment for all Muslims. There are innumerable lessons for the Muslim Ummah in his life.
Sa'd bin Mu'adh (R) was the chief of the Bani Abdul Ash-hal clan, a branch of Al-Khazraj tribe. He was a man of dignity, honor, wisdom and courage. He was among the bittar enemies of Islam, but when he accepted Islam, he devoted himself to defend it. He supported Islam with his wealth, bravery, wisdom and all his Might so much so that up till today he is said to be 'The True Supporter of Islam.' When he died, the angels welcomed his soul in the best manner, and his body was emitting the nice smell of musk.
