About This Set

This edition is in Urdu. Sahih Muslim, compiled by Imam Muslim Ibn Al-Hajjaj, is regarded as one of the most authentic collections of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), second only to Sahih al-Bukhari. Imam Muslim traveled through Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and other lands to gather hadith, and applied strict conditions so that only narrations he judged authentic were included. This five-volume set from Darussalam contains all the chapters under which Imam Muslim arranged his collection. It gives an Urdu translation in modern, readable language with brief explanatory notes (fawaid) by Professor Muhammad Yahya Jalalpuri.
