About This Book

Al-Basheer was a magazine on the Islamic sciences published from 1987 to 1995. After it ceased publication, readers kept asking for its back issues, so its articles are being reissued in book form. Towards Understanding Our Religion is the first volume in that series.

This volume collects articles by Jamaal al-Din Zarabozo, the magazine's editor, taken from al-Basheer's first two years.
