The Advice of Prophet Yahya ibn Zakariya is Ibn al-Qayyim's explanation of the counsel given by Prophet Yahya (peace be upon him) to the Children of Israel. Yahya gathered them in Jerusalem until the masjid was full, and told them that Allah had commanded him with five commandments to act on and to command them to act on as well. Ibn al-Qayyim explains these five commandments and their meaning for the believer.
