About This DVD
This DVD is in Spanish. In it, Muhammad Isa Garcia, a writer born in Buenos Aires who studied Arabic language and Islamic theology at Umm Al-Qura University, explains the concept of worship (ibadah) in Islam in a concise, easy-to-follow way. He presents worship as something that both purifies the self and shapes a person's everyday life, resting on the fact that human beings are servants of Allah, their Creator, who will judge their deeds in the Hereafter. En este DVD, Muhammad Isa García, escritor nacido en Buenos Aires y licenciado en Lengua Árabe y en Teología Islámica por la Universidad Umm Al-Qura, explica de forma clara y breve el concepto de la adoración (ibadah) en el Islam.
Según el Islam, la adoración purifica el alma y abarca también la vida diaria del ser humano. Su fundamento es que las personas son siervos de Allah, su Creador, quien juzgará sus obras en la otra vida.
El autor compara esta visión con la de otras religiones, en las que la adoración puede asociarse con el alejamiento de la vida cotidiana, con lugares determinados o con la presencia de un sacerdote. Por último, muestra la relación entre la adoración y una vida sana basada en creencias firmes, pureza de espíritu y rectitud en los actos.
