About This Book

Seerah Encyclopedia, Volume 2 continues The Hidden Pearls, a multi-volume account of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Where the first volume describes Arabia before Islam, this second volume turns to the Prophet himself: his lineage and family, the signs and prophecies that preceded his coming, and his birth and early years.

The encyclopedia was compiled by Darussalam, originally in Urdu, and is being translated into other languages. Each event was researched and reviewed by a thirteen-member committee and written in an easy, readable style. Please note that it is not a translation of the four-volume Arabic work that shares the name al-Lu'lu' al-Maknun (The Hidden Pearls); it is a separate, newer work.
