About the Author

Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi earned a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston before studying at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he completed a diploma in Arabic, a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences, and an M.A. in Islamic Theology. He later completed his graduate studies, including a Ph.D., at Yale University, with a dissertation on reconciling reason and revelation in the writings of Ibn Taymiyya. He has served as Dean of The Islamic Seminary of America in Dallas, Texas.
