This is the smaller-format edition of the Noorani Qa'idah (al-Qawa'id an-Nuraniyyah) by Noor Mohammad ar-Ra'ee, a long-established primer for learning to read the Arabic of the Qur'an with correct pronunciation. The method is built for learners whose first language is not Arabic, and no prior knowledge of Arabic is needed to begin.
The lessons move step by step from the sounds of the letters toward reading Qur'anic words with the basic rules of tajweed, so that a student who completes the book can go on to read the Qur'an itself. It can be studied alone or with a teacher.
