About This Qur'an

This new edition of the Noble Qur'an is in Arabic, Urdu, and English: it presents the Arabic text in Indo-Pak (Persian) script together with translation and tafseer in both English and Urdu, so one volume serves readers of either language. A full description in Urdu follows below.

What's Inside

Each page is laid out in three columns: the Arabic text on the right, the Urdu translation in the middle, and the English translation on the left. Below the columns come the English tafsir and then the Urdu tafseer, wherever a note exists for those verses. A brief subject index in English and Urdu appears near the end.

The English translation is the Noble Qur'an by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan and Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali, a summarized interpretation drawn from the tafsir of At-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi and Ibn Kathir, with comments from Sahih Al-Bukhari. The Urdu translation and tafseer, Tafseer Ahsan-ul-Kalam, is by Hafiz Salah-ud-Din Yusuf and Maulana Muhammad Abdul Jabbar. Brief commentary and relevant hadith are included where needed, which makes this a practical study reference.
