About This Book
Belief in the Last Day is part of Muslim faith, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) foretold many of the signs that will come before it. Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer gathered these prophecies in his history Al-Bidaayah wan-Nihaayah, and this volume presents that material in English, translated by Faisal Shafiq.
Earlier parts of Ibn Katheer's work covered the beginning of creation, the stories of the prophets, the life of the Prophet, and prophecies already fulfilled. This volume gives only a few examples of fulfilled prophecies and concentrates on the signs of the Hour and the trials and events still to come.
