About the Speaker Yasir Qadhi
Yasir Qadhi, born in Houston,Texas completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was accepted as a student at the Islamic University of Madinah after completing his graduation with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. He graduated with a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences and completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the College of Dawah shortly thereafter. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Religious Studies at Yale University in New Haven, CT. He serves as the Dean of Academic Affairs at the AlMaghrib Institute and teaches the Light of Guidance and the Light Upon Light seminars, focusing on Islamic aqeedah.
