Dua can be defined as any invocation or prayer addressed to Allah (SWT) and is the most intimate ritual acts between the servant and his Lord.

In our times, we find many reasons why people do not make Dua, either they forget, don't know how, or just do not think it will be answered. The Prophet said, “Verily your Lord is generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi)
