He asks the reader to tell sincere striving that follows the Sunnah apart from innovations that entered parts of the Sufi tradition later. The book argues for the position of Ahl as-Sunnah and should be read as a critique, not as a neutral survey of Sufism.

What's Inside

Sufi and Sunni beliefs compared on the pillars of iman

Divine knowledge

The spiritual stations (maqamat)

Veneration of saints and spiritual masters

Sincere spirituality versus innovation

Who It's For

Readers who want to understand the creedal differences between Sufism and Ahl as-Sunnah

Muslims in the West who have come across Sufi teachings

Book Details

Author: Shaykh Sa'd bin Nasir ash-Shathri

Translator: Ariff bin Abee Bakr Olla

Binding: Paperback

Pages: 76

Size (inches): 5.75x8.25x0.20

Size (cm): 15x21x0.50

Edition: 1st (2016)
