Immigration to the USA -

Understanding Muslim Immigration

Guidelines, Challenges and Tips for getting immigration attorneys

Each year, hundreds of thousands of immigrants from Islamic and Muslim countries immigrate to the US. Muslim immigration to America started in the early 1960s. Some of them come when their immigration papers are complete while others complete their immigration process during their stay in the USA. According to some estimates, about 96,000 Muslims became legal immigrants in the USA in 2006.

Within the past few years, the US has further tightened it's immigration laws making it challenging for many to complete their paperwork while in the USA. Many have to return to their countries of origin to complete that process. There are still many others who simply can't come back because of many issues and challenges with their respective cases.

With the continual changing of immigration laws, finding a good immigration attorney is very critical to the process, especially for those whose cases are not as straightforward. A good immigration attorney not only has the experience in immigration cases but can also guide the potential immigrant with many alternatives that may be available for the potential immigrant.
