Islamic
Online Education and Online Degree Programs (Graduate, Doctorate)
The demand for formal Islamic education
programs has been steadily increasing over the past few years. This
includes demand for Graduate, Masters. Doctorate, PhD programs. More and more students have been vying to enroll in
online bachelors and graduate educational programs that cover a wide array of Islamic subjects
and formal degree programs. More than just providing simple courses, these
educational institutions and colleges have rather been offering online education and online
degrees to its students. In fact more Muslims have been striving to get
formal full time diplomas and degrees in Islamic sciences and arts than
ever before.
These Islamic institutions fall into two categories - some offer online
education programs allowing students to pursue formal online diplomas.
Similar to secular online educational programs, professors and instructors provide notes
and lectures and allow students to collaborate through
the Internet / telephone. Other institutions are more traditional in
that they offer full time programs on physical campuses.
For Muslims living in the west where full time Islamic
education on traditional campuses is still not easy to get, online
education and Islamic online degrees is a viable and attractive option.
The good news is that many Islamic institutions have been offering these
courses for a number of years and have seen hundreds and thousands of
graduates over the past few years.
These institutions offer formal diplomas in areas such as Fiqh and
Usul al-Fiqh, Shari'ah, Usul al-Din, Arabic Language, Hadith, Da'wa Training
Courses, and other facets of
Islam.
The following provides a listing of some of the popular
Islamic institutions in the western world and Islamic countries.
Prospective students are encouraged to review the curriculum before
enrolling in those programs. HilalPlaza has not checked the curriculum
content of any of these institutions.
