545: Prophet Muhammad's father, Abdullah was born.
571: Prophet Muhammad was born. (In this year, Makkah was also earlier invaded by Abraha. This year is also referred to as “Year of the Elephant”.)
577: Prophet Muhammad's mother dies.
580: Death of Prophet Muhammad's grandfather, Abdul Muttalib who was the Prophet's guardian as well.
583: Prophet Muhammad visits Syria along with his uncle Abu Talib. In this trip, he meets a monk named Bahira who foretells of his prophethood.
594: Prophet Muhammad joins Lady Khadija's business, and starts leading her trade caravans to Syria.
595: Prophet Muhammad marries Khadija.
605: Prophet Muhammad helps in a dispute among the Quraish tribe about fitting Hajr-al-aswad (black stone) in the Kaaba.

620: Prophet Muhammad takes a Journey to city of Taif in Saudi-Arabia to invite people to Islam.
620: The event of Isra-ul-Miraj (Ascension to the heavens) takes place.
621: First pledge at Aqaba.
622: Second pledge at Aqaba. The Prophet Muhammad and the Muslims migrate to Yathrib.
624: Muslims and infidels fight the first battle of Badr. Expulsion of the Bani Qainuqa Jews from Madina.
625: The battle of Uhud takes place. 70 Muslims are massacred at Bir Mauna.
627: Battle of the Trench takes place. Banu Quraiza Jews are expelled from Al-Madinah.
628: Truce of Hudaibiya takes place. The Prophet Muhammad also sends invites various heads of states to Islam by sending them letters.
629: Prophet Muhammad performs the pilgrimage at Makkah.
630: Prophet Muhammad conquers Makkah.
632: Prophet Muhammad makes the farewell pilgrimage to Makkah. The last verses of Quran are revealed.
632: Prophet Muhammad passes away and Abu Bakr is elected as the Caliph.
