Are Muslim men required to wear modest clothes, similar to the laws surrounding Abaya?
Men are definitely required to be modest. They are commanded to lower their gaze and be modest. In addition, it is understood that they cannot reveal the area from their naval to the knee. A lot of Muslim men also feel uncomfortable showing their bare legs and chest in public. As with women who wear Abaya, they cannot wear clothes that are transparent or are too tight.
