What are the Islamic laws about a woman being alone with other men even if she is already dressed in Abaya?
Ibn Abbaas quote the prophet who said, No woman should travel except with a mahram and no man should enter upon her unless she has a mahram with her. This was narrated by al-Bukhari (1763) and Muslim (1341). This indicates that a Muslim woman is not permitted to be in the company of the opposite sex if she is alone whether she is wearing Abaya or not.
