Why do a lot of people say that the Abaya is more than just a garment?
The Abaya is definitely more than just a garment in Islamic societies. For this, it is part of their lifestyle of their women and even their identity. Some women said that they feel naked without the Abaya. Beyond all this though, the Abaya symbolizes their religion, culture, and heritage.
