About This Book

Story of Shuaib (Jethro) is book 7 in a rhyming series on the Prophets for young children. Prophet Shuaib (peace be upon him) was sent to the people of Madyan, who cheated in the market with short weights and short measures.

He called them to worship Allah alone and to give full measure in the same message, which teaches a child early that honesty in dealing with others is part of the religion and not only good manners. The book tells of his calling, the mockery and threats he faced, and what finally came to Madyan.
